Philly Cheesesteak Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • 2 green bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • ½ yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet; cook until tender. Season with seasoned salt.
  4. Whisk eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and heavy cream in a bowl.
  5. Mix beef and vegetables with the egg mixture.
  6. Spread into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and top with provolone cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, consider adding mushrooms or a pinch of black pepper.
  • If you prefer a crispier cheese topping, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end.
