Ultimate Double Cheeseburger Pizza Stack

Ingredients:
- 4 lbs ground beef
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional — for firmer patties)
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 large pizza crusts (store-bought or homemade, about 12 inches each)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pizza sauce (or burger sauce for extra flavor)
- 8 slices cooked bacon (optional, but amazing)
- 1 cup pickles, sliced
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
- ½ cup diced red onion
- Shredded lettuce for topping
- Ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce for drizzling
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Make Burger Patties: In a large bowl, mix ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs (if using), salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into large patties, roughly the same diameter as your pizza crusts.
- Cook Patties: Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Set aside on paper towels to drain excess grease.
- Assemble the Pizza Stack: Place one pizza crust on a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza pan. Spread with pizza sauce, sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella. Add 2 burger patties, more cheese, bacon slices, and pickles. Place the second crust on top, spread with sauce, cheese, then add the remaining 2 patties, more cheese, pickles, bacon, diced tomatoes, and red onion.
- Bake: Bake for 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and crust is crisp.
- Finish: Let rest for 5 minutes. Top with shredded lettuce and drizzle with ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce.
- Serve: Slice like a pizza and serve with plenty of napkins — it’s a delicious, messy masterpiece!
