Ingredients

  • 2 lbs small red or Yukon gold potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for color)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prep the Potatoes:

Wash and cut the potatoes in halves or quarters, depending on their size. Try to keep the pieces uniform for even cooking.

2. Season Everything:

In a large bowl, mix the potatoes with the Lipton Onion Soup Mix, olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, black pepper, and paprika (if using). Toss until everything is coated in that rich, savory goodness.

3. Load the Slow Cooker:

Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker to prevent sticking. Add in the seasoned potatoes and spread them out evenly.

4. Cook Until Tender:

  • On low heat: cook for 4–5 hours
  • On high heat: cook for 2–3 hours
Stir once or twice during cooking for even flavor distribution and to prevent any sticking at the bottom.

5. Garnish & Serve:

Once the potatoes are fork-tender, give them a gentle stir. Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top for a pop of color and freshness!
