Ingredients

For the Sheet Pan:

  • 14 oz chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled & diced into ½-inch cubes
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, cut small for even roasting
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

To Finish:

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a large sheet pan. Add sausage slices, sweet potato cubes, and broccoli florets to the pan.

2. Make the Sauce:
In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.

3. Coat the Ingredients:
Drizzle the honey garlic sauce evenly over everything on the pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss well to coat, then spread out into a single layer.

4. Bake:
Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the sweet potatoes are tender and the sausage is nicely browned.

5. Garnish & Serve:
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve hot! This dish is perfect on its own or served over rice or quinoa for a heartier meal.

Tips & Variations

  • Swap in Brussels sprouts or zucchini for the broccoli if you’d like to mix it up.
  • Prefer a spicier kick? Add a pinch of chili flakes to the sauce.
  • For extra caramelization, broil the tray for the last 2–3 minutes of baking.

This is one of those easy dinners that checks all the boxes: sweet, savory, protein-packed, and minimal cleanup!
