Pineapple Habanero Hot Sauce

Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
- 2 habanero peppers (seeded for less heat, leave seeds in for extra spice)
- ½ cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for balance)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions:
1. Blend the Ingredients
Add the pineapple, habaneros, vinegar, lime juice, garlic, honey, and salt to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy.
2. Simmer
Pour the blended mixture into a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. This helps meld the flavors and gives the sauce a nice consistency.
3. Cool and Bottle
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Transfer the sauce to a clean glass jar or bottle. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
