Garlic Parmesan Chicken in Sun-Dried Tomato Cream Sauce

Ingredients:
🍗 For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
🧄 For the Sauce:
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
1️⃣ Season & Sear the Chicken: Coat the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
2️⃣ Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Mix in the sun-dried tomatoes and Parmesan cheese.
3️⃣ Simmer & Finish: Add Italian seasoning and let the sauce simmer gently. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Cover and cook for another 8-10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
4️⃣ Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle fresh basil and parsley over the dish before serving. Enjoy with pasta, rice, or crusty bread!
💡 Tip: For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine while deglazing the pan before adding the cream.
