Garlic Butter Chicken Bites & Asparagus Skillet

So much flavor, so little effort! This one-pan wonder features juicy chicken bites and crisp asparagus all tossed in a garlicky butter sauce that’ll make you want to lick the pan. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner! 😋🍗✨
Ingredients
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 bunches of asparagus, trimmed
- 1/2 cup butter, divided (1/4 cup for sautéing, 1/4 cup for the sauce)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 2 tsp minced garlic, divided
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning or Herbes de Provence
- 1 tbsp hot sauce (optional – we used Sriracha for a kick!)
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 tbsp minced fresh parsley
- Optional: crushed red chili flakes for heat
- Lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions
- Prep the pan: In a large skillet, heat 1/4 cup butter and 1 tsp olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook the chicken: Add chicken pieces and 1 tsp of garlic. Season with Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Add hot sauce (if using) and cook until golden and cooked through—about 5–7 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Sauté the asparagus: In the same pan, add the remaining 1/4 cup butter, the rest of the garlic, and the asparagus. Cook for about 4–5 minutes, stirring often.
- Deglaze: Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, until slightly reduced.
- Bring it together: Add the cooked chicken back into the pan. Toss everything gently to coat in the buttery sauce.
- Finish: Sprinkle with fresh parsley, optional chili flakes, and garnish with lemon slices.
Serve Hot & Enjoy!
Serve with fluffy rice, quinoa, or a crusty slice of bread to soak up all that buttery goodness. You’re gonna want every last drop!
