Crock Pot Lemon-Garlic-Butter Chicken

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 6 chicken thighs)

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)Juice of 2 lemonsZest of 1 lemon

½ cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)Lemon slices for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken –

Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red pepper flakes.Make the Sauce – In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chicken broth.Slow Cook – Place the chicken in the crock pot. Pour the butter-garlic-lemon sauce over the chicken.Cook – Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.Serve – Spoon the sauce over the chicken, garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices, and enjoy
