Creamy Garlic Chicken with Chorizo – Rich & Flavorful!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken thighs or breasts, cut into chunks

Instructions:

Step 1: Cook the Chicken

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5–6 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Step 2: Brown the Chorizo

In the same pan, cook the chorizo slices for 2–3 minutes until browned and fragrant. Remove and set aside with the chicken.

Step 3: Sauté the Onion & Garlic

Add diced onion to the skillet and sauté for 2–3 minutes until soft. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Step 4: Make the Creamy Sauce

Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add smoked paprika, and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 5: Combine & Simmer

Return the chicken and chorizo to the skillet. Simmer for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything beautifully.

Step 6: Garnish & Serve

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
