  • 6 oz beef or smoked sausage, thinly sliced

For the Pasta:

  • 10 oz fettuccine (or your favorite pasta)

For the Sauce & Veggies:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (or Creole seasoning)
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For Seasoning:

  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Season & Cook the Shrimp

Toss the shrimp in a bowl with Cajun seasoning, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and lightly charred. Remove and set aside.

2️⃣ Brown the Sausage

Add another tbsp of oil to the skillet and brown the sliced sausage until golden and crispy on the edges. Remove and set aside with the shrimp.

3️⃣ Sauté the Veggies

In the same skillet, sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic for about 5 minutes, until soft and aromatic.

4️⃣ Make the Cajun Cream Sauce

Add crushed tomatoes and chicken stock to the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan, and let it bubble gently until thickened.
Taste and adjust the heat with more Cajun seasoning or a pinch of chili flakes if you love it spicy!

5️⃣ Cook the Pasta

Meanwhile, boil the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

6️⃣ Combine Everything

Add the cooked pasta, shrimp, and sausage back into the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is coated and the proteins are warmed through.

7️⃣ Garnish & Serve

Top with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of extra Parmesan. Serve immediately while it’s hot, creamy, and irresistible!
