Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp flour (for thickening)

Mashed Potatoes

  • 2 lbs red potatoes, unpeeled and cut into chunks
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Green Beans with Onions

  • 12 oz fresh green beans, trimmed
  • ½ onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Baked Mac & Cheese

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1½ cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional: pinch of paprika (for a touch of warmth)

Instructions

1️⃣ Steak & Gravy

  • Season steak strips generously with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak strips until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt butter. Whisk in the flour to form a roux.
  • Slowly pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly. Let simmer until thickened.
  • Return steak to the pan, toss to coat in gravy, and keep warm on low heat.

2️⃣ Mashed Potatoes

  • Boil red potato chunks in salted water until fork-tender (about 15 minutes).

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
