Chicken and Broccoli Baked Alfredo

Creamy, cheesy, and packed with comfort—this baked Alfredo pasta is your new weeknight hero!

There’s nothing quite like a bubbling dish of baked pasta to bring comfort to the dinner table. This Chicken and Broccoli Baked Alfredo combines tender shredded rotisserie chicken, vibrant broccoli florets, and rigatoni smothered in a rich, garlicky Alfredo sauce—then topped with melty mozzarella and Parmesan for that golden, irresistible finish.

It’s hearty, wholesome, and comes together with minimal effort. Let’s get into it!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound rigatoni pasta
  • 1 rotisserie chicken, meat shredded
  • 2 cups creamy Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1½ cups broccoli florets, fresh
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta: Boil the rigatoni in salted water until just under al dente—about 3–4 minutes shy of the package instructions. In the last 3 minutes, toss in the broccoli florets to slightly soften them.
  3. Drain well and transfer both pasta and broccoli to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Add the flavor: Stir in the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly coated and combined.
  5. Top it off: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the dish.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
  7. Rest and serve: Let the casserole sit for a few minutes before serving to help everything settle and soak up that flavor.

Tips & Variations

  • Want extra garlic kick? Stir in minced fresh garlic to the sauce before baking.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes if you like a little heat.
  • No rigatoni? Penne, ziti, or even shells work just as well!
  • For a lighter version, use a light Alfredo or swap half the pasta with cauliflower.

Serving Suggestion

Pair this baked Alfredo with a crisp green salad or warm garlic bread for a comforting dinner that feels like a hug in a bowl.
