Cheesy Taco Sticks 
Easy, cheesy, and totally taco-fied!
Need a quick, crowd-pleasing snack or a fun weeknight dinner idea? These Cheesy Taco Sticks are your go-to! Imagine all the bold, zesty flavors of your favorite taco—wrapped in golden, flaky crescent dough and oozing with melted cheese. Yep, it’s as good as it sounds. Serve them with a side of guac or sour cream, and just try not to eat them all in one go!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) salsa
- 1 cup (115 g) shredded cheese (cheddar, Mexican blend, or your fave!)
- 1 package refrigerated crescent rolls
- Cooking spray
Instructions
Preheat & prep
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Sauté the filling
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in the taco seasoning and salsa, then mix until well combined and saucy. Let it cool slightly.
Roll it up
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles or rectangles, depending on the style you want.
Spoon a bit of the taco beef mixture onto each piece and top with a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
Seal & shape
Roll each one up, tucking the sides in if possible, and gently press the edges to seal the filling inside.
Place them seam-side down on your prepared baking sheet.
Bake to golden perfection
Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray for an extra golden finish.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until puffed and beautifully browned.
