Here’s how to whip up these delicious cookies:

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, but I highly recommend it!)
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  1. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. If you’re using cinnamon, add it here too!
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.
  7. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy every single bite! Let me know if you give these a try – I can’t wait to hear what you think!
