Rich, cheesy, and irresistibly creamy, this bowtie pasta with savory ground beef is the ultimate comfort meal for any night of the week.

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or basil, finely chopped, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook bowtie pasta until al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart until browned. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Add diced onion and cook 2–3 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and cook 30 seconds more until fragrant.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning, then simmer 2 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low and pour in heavy cream and milk. Stir to combine and simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Gradually add mozzarella and Parmesan, stirring until sauce becomes thick, creamy, and smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss gently until well coated and evenly mixed.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs and crushed red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot and creamy.
