📝 Ingredients (Serves 4)

🔹 ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter 🧈
🔹 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate (chopped or chips) 🍫
🔹 2 large eggs 🥚
🔹 2 large egg yolks 🥚
🔹 ¼ cup granulated sugar 🍚
🔹 1 tsp vanilla extract 🌼
🔹 ⅛ tsp salt 🧂
🔹 3 tbsp all-purpose flour 🌾
🔹 Butter & cocoa powder (for greasing ramekins)


👨‍🍳 Instructions

Prepare the Ramekins:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Grease 4 ramekins with butter and dust lightly with cocoa powder. Set aside.

Melt the Chocolate & Butter:

  • In a heatproof bowl, melt butter and chocolate together using a double boiler or in microwave (30-second intervals, stirring between each).

Mix the Batter:

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, egg yolks, sugar, vanilla, and salt until light and slightly thick.
  • Gently fold in the melted chocolate mixture.
  • Sift in the flour and stir until just combined.

Fill & Bake:

  • Divide batter evenly among prepared ramekins.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly.

Cool & Serve:

  • Let cakes rest for 1 minute before running a knife around the edges.
