If you’ve got 3 apples and 2 eggs, you’re just 5 minutes away from the softest, richest apple pie you’ll ever make—no crust, no fuss, no mixer needed! This melt-in-your-mouth dessert is perfect for last-minute guests or cozy nights when you want something sweet and fast.


Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • A pinch of salt
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 50 grams (about 3.5 tablespoons) melted butter
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 3 apples, finely chopped or grated

Instructions:

1. Whisk the Wet Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, sugar, and lemon zest until light and slightly frothy. Stir in the melted butter.

2. Add the Dry Ingredients

Sift in the flour and baking powder. Mix just until smooth—no overmixing needed!

3. Add the Apples

Fold in the finely chopped apples. The more apples, the juicier and softer the result!

4. Bake or Pan-Fry!

  • Oven method: Pour the mixture into a buttered small cake pan and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes, or until golden and set.
  • Stovetop method: Pour into a buttered nonstick skillet, cover with a lid, and cook on low for about 15–20 minutes, flipping carefully if needed for even browning.

Serving Tips:
