For Assembly:
- 4 brioche burger buns, buttered and toasted
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Fried Mac & Cheese
- Scoop firm, chilled mac and cheese into discs or squares.
- Freeze for 20–30 minutes until solid.
- Dredge in flour, dip in egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Fry in hot oil (350°F/175°C) for 3–4 minutes until golden.
