For the Cheddar Cheese Sauce:

1 tbsp butter

1 tbsp all-purpose flour

3/4 cup milk

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Salt to taste

Optional: dash of cayenne or hot sauce for a spicy kick

Instructions:

Make the Mashed Potatoes:

Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (12–15 min).

Drain and mash with warm milk, butter, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

Cook the Broccoli:

Steam or lightly boil broccoli until bright green and tender-crisp (about 3–4 minutes).

Drain and keep warm.

Sear the Beef:

Pat beef dry and season with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear beef cubes for about 2–3 minutes on each side until caramelized and medium-rare inside.

Optional: finish with butter for richness.

Cook the Shrimp:

Toss shrimp with oil, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Sauté in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and lightly browned.

Make the Cheese Sauce:

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.

Slowly whisk in milk until smooth and thickened.

Stir in cheddar until melted. Add salt and optional cayenne or hot sauce for spice.

Assemble the Bowl:

In a rustic black bowl, spoon a base of mashed potatoes.

Top with broccoli, seared beef, and shrimp.

Drizzle generously with warm cheddar cheese sauce.

Add a few drops of extra spicy sauce if desired.

Optional Garnishes:
Chopped chives, crispy onions, or a sprinkle of smoked paprika.
