This quick and flavorful dish combines tender, juicy steak bites with garlic-infused butter, honey, and soy sauce—all mixed with fluffy rice for the perfect weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

For the Steak & Sauce:

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank), cut into bite-sized cubes 🥩
  • 1 tbsp olive oil 🫒
  • 2 tbsp butter, divided 🧈
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
  • ¼ cup honey 🍯
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce 🥢
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice) 🌶️
  • ½ tsp salt 🧂
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Rice:

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice 🍚
  • 2 cups beef broth 🥣

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Rice 🍚

  1. In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat.

  2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in the same skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak pieces and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove & set aside.

3️⃣ Make the Honey Garlic Butter Sauce 🍯🧄

  1. In the same pan, melt 1 tbsp butter and add garlic.
  2. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Let simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

4️⃣ Combine & Serve 🍽️

  1. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the sauce.
  2. Stir in the cooked rice, mixing everything together.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
