For the Tostones (Fried Plantains):

2 green plantains π

1 cup vegetable oil for frying

For the Fresh Veggie Salad:

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved π

1οΈβ£ Cook the Steak:
π₯ Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
π₯ Season steaks with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
π₯ Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or to your desired doneness.
π₯ Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
2οΈβ£ Make the Tostones:
π Peel the plantains and cut them into 1-inch thick slices.
π³ Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry plantain slices for 3 minutes per side until golden.
π¨ Remove from oil, flatten each piece with a tostone press (or a heavy object), and fry again until crispy.
π§ Sprinkle with salt while hot.

π₯ In a bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and cilantro/parsley.
